The Acts of Peace and Kindness I Could do as a Gift

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 11:53 PM 0 comments
The acts of peace I could do as a gift is to love everyone rather than to hate them. I will also encourage them  to attend mass every sunday or even pray every day and every night. I will discourage those people who loves war so that they will end it as not their hobby anymore beacause people who loves war, is surely the one who has no peacefulness in his/her heart.
The acts of kindness I could do as a gift is to help any grand elders specially when crossing on the road through guiding and helping them to carry what they are carrying. Another acts of kindness I could do are helping my humanhood whenever they need help, helping my parents in the household chores and most of all  comforting anyone to overpass their heavy problems so that they can breath well together with happiness.

Things to keep Myself, Others, Planet Healthy

The things that I will do to keep myself healthy is to train myself to eat green leafy vegetables, to exercise daily, to have a proper hygiene and most of all is to have limitations on what I love to do.
For others, In order for them to keep theirselves healthy is I will invite and encourage them to do exercise regularly and not to eat any unnecessary foods because that brings no good in our body.
For our planet, I won't let myself to throw garbages anywhere and not to burn any plastics because it harms our ozone layer and if our ozone layer was already harmed, it affect human's lives. I will also inform those people who loves cutting trees not to continue their bad doings because it can cause"kaingin" that leads us to Flooding. That's why we should love and protect our "Mother Earth".

The goals or accomplishments I'd like to attain this year is to finish my high school days and to have a good and stable job in order for me to start saving my money to support my next school years in college so that my parents won't feel depressed with me. If I already saved my money and if I think it is enough, I won't hesitate to enroll in college because college for me stands as the new ladder to attain better future.

The People That Influences Me Most

The people that influences me most throughout my life are my parents because they are the one who taught me on how to live life well. I have chosen them as the person who influenced me most throughout my life not because they are my parents but because they totally made me as what I am right now that others cannot do. Through my parents, I am fully charged to do all the things in which I thought it is one of the best way to have a good and better future. Without them, maybe I couldn't have so much strenghts to fight all the struggles that I may encounter.

Warm Bath (for Insomia)

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 11:19 PM 0 comments

One theory held by sleep experts has it that normal body temperature play off the body's circadian rythym. Those temperatures are low during sleep and at their highest point during the day. Along those lines, it's thought that the body begins to get drowsy as it's taken about four to five hours before bedtime will raise the temperature. Then as it begins to fall, you'll feel more tired, which makes it easier to fall asleep.

My Reaction About the Article "NZ student accepts $32,000 bid for virginity"

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 12:00 AM 0 comments
When I read this article, I really felt so disappointed in the sense that she offered her virginity just to pay her university's fees without even thinking that there is another way to solve it and I can't really imagine that nowadays people will accept anything just to help them in their heavy problems.Although she had a very good reason why she did it,still she had made a very big sin which we called "PROSTITUTION".
So in short I didn't agreed to what she had done to her self because money can be seen anywhere, anytime through efforts but virginity cannot.

Stand Up and Go To Sleep

Horses can sleep standing up but can't dream unless they lie down. If a standing horse were to go into the kind of sleep that would allow it to dream, it's muscles would relax and would fall over.

Seeing Straight

The eagle can see four to eight times better then human beings. But an eagle can't move it's eyes in their sockets. That means it has to turn it's whole head to look around.

Cold hard Facts

Metal often feels cold when you touch it, but it is not colder than it's surroundings. Many metals are good heat conductors, so they "pull" heat from your hands. The cold you feel isn't the cold of the metal, but of your hand losing heat.

My Essay About Islam, Hajj and Ramadan

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 1:45 AM 0 comments
For me, Islam is the common religion of all people in Middle East and in many places in Africans. This also the religion of many people in Indonesia, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan. This was built by Mohammed. They called him Prophet because he is the one who speaks to muslim people about the ways of believing that "Allah" had showed to him. "Muslim" is what we called to all people who had an Islam religion. Muslims believed in one God in which they called "Allah". They also have aholybook which is "Koran" or "Quran" in english and Ramadan is the muslim's important celebration in which they don't eat within one month. It's the nineth month of the calendar of all muslims. They do this from day to night. They control theirselves not to drink, smoke, think bad, or even to do what they want. They can only eat before the sun shines and after it sets. All muslims believe that when they do this, they are deserving to Allah. They also believed that praying is the way of talking to Allah and Hajj is what we call to those muslims who already gone in Mecca and they are the most praised one among all muslims.

My Answer In Activity No.2

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 1:23 AM 0 comments

1.)Hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca is one of the five pillars of Islam. Hajj was made obligatory in the 9th year of Hijra. The Holy Prophet sent off 300 Muslims under the leadership of Hazrat Abubakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) to Mecca so that they could perform Hajj. That was the year when it was banned for the Mushrikeen (those who associate partners with Allah) to enter Ka’ba. It was also made unlawful to perform Tawaaf (circling of Ka’ba) with naked body.
"The Truth about Islam" has been called the "best, short introduction to Islam" and has been published in Foreign Affairs.
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the most sacred of the twelve months. The name Ramadan derives from the Arabic word for intense heat and sun-scorched ground. 2.) Islam teaches us that this life is a life of worship. We are placed on this earth in order to worship Allah and obey His command. During this earthly life we are subjected to a series of trials. We have the option of enduring these trials and conforming to certain laws, and our reward will be great in the next life, or we may decline to endure these trials and choose to not conform to the law, then we will be made to regret it in the next life.
Each person will be solely and completely responsible for their own final reward. We are also told that God has designed these laws to make this life a better, safer, and more tolerable one for us. If we elect to conform to them then we will see the result in this life even before moving on to the next.

Can We Really Sense If Someone Is Staring At Us?

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 8:29 PM 0 comments

It would seem that many of us can, according to research by Cambridge University Biologist Rypert Sheldrake. "I've conducted more than 20,00 trials, and the results show over and over again that most people know when they are being looked at from behind-even if they're blindfolded," says Sheldrake.

Just For You

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 11:14 PM 0 comments

Everytime I see you

My heart beats faster

I don't know but it's

Just only for you

This feeling that I can't explain

Everytime I can't see you

Every minute, my eyes wanting you

Just for you to know

I found that...

I can't live without you

knowing that I'm in love

Only just for you.

Do Goldfish Really Have A Ten-Second Memory?

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 11:12 PM 0 comments

"Goldfish can recognize and remember their owners or keepers", says London Aquarium Aquarist Luke Rosser, like a dog "man's best-friend". The reason is, they'll swim to the surface expecting food when the owner approached the tank. They also disoriented if you rearrange the objects or plants around them", in addtion of Rossser's researched.
Research at the University of Utrecht in Holland supports Rosser's view, finding that carp-close relatives of the gold fish-will avoid a particularly bait. Once caught with it, for a year or more.

Does Reading In The Dark Harm Your Eyesight?

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 10:53 PM 0 comments

"There is no evidence that reading in the dark causes damaged", says opthalmologist William Chua from the University of Sydney. "But it does make it tough to see the words as the eye relies on light to work". An eye receives light and sends it through the optic nerve to the visual centre in the brain. This structure means there is no such things as overuse. While reading in poor light can cause eye strain, it is easily cured with rest.

Which Came First? The Chicken or the Egg?

Posted by Mharj Malanog at 10:41 PM 0 comments

The egg. The modern chicken is generally believed to be a "descendant" of Archaeopteryx, the oldest known bird. This 150-million-year old resident of the Jurassic Period laid eggs and at some point evolved into an animal that was one generation away from being a proper chicken. This creature would have produced the egg of which the first chicken emerged. Therefore, the egg came first.
